One-on-one, every session
Your coach is coaching you, not four people at once.
One-on-one coaching for active adults and athletes, in a facility where physical therapists work down the hall. Every program is built around your body, your training history, and the things your body will not let you do yet.
Coaching from a certified corrective exercise specialist and competitive powerlifter.
Physical therapists and performance coaches under one roof.
Free, no obligation. We will tell you straight if you would be better served by rehab first.
No templates. Your program is built from what we actually find when we assess you: your goals, your training age, your injury history, and what your joints will tolerate today.
Then it progresses. Every session has a reason it looks the way it does, and you will know what that reason is.
Most people finish physical therapy the week the pain stops and get sent off with no plan for getting strong again. That is the gap, cleared to train, but nobody built the bridge.
We have both sides of that bridge in the same building. If something flares up mid-program, there is a Doctor of Physical Therapy twenty feet away. If you are coming off rehab, your coach can talk to the person who rehabbed you.
You do not need to be a physical therapy patient to train here. Most of our training clients never were.
You are somewhere between thirty-five and fifty-five. You lift, or you used to. You have got a shoulder or a hip or a low back with a history. You do not want a bootcamp and you do not want to be babied.
Strength, power, conditioning, and mobility work that complements what your sport coach is already doing, not a second program fighting the first.
Your coach is coaching you, not four people at once.
Movement problems get spotted early by people trained to see them.
Built for you, adjusted as you progress.
You will see the numbers move, and you will know why.

Co-Owner and Personal Trainer
Brendan Rosenbergh is a personal trainer and co-owner at Optimize Physical Therapy and Performance in Bloomfield Township, MI. As a former collegiate athlete, an NPC/NABBA/DFAC Men's Physique competitor, and a coach with over a decade of experience, Brendan has built a wide base of knowledge across performance, physique, and post-rehabilitation training.
Brendan believes in combining passion, science, and hard work to optimize his clients' results. He has worked with individuals from a broad range of backgrounds - professional athletes through post-rehab patients - and uses a variety of tools and platforms to help each of them succeed.
Brendan's depth is in teaching quality movement and translating it into what actually matters on the floor: mobility, stability, power, endurance, and strength. That progression is what lets a client move from cleared-by-PT to genuinely capable, and it is why he is able to help clients reach a wide range of goals.

Performance Trainer
Bachelor degree in Exercise Science and over eight years coaching people in gym and clinical settings. Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist. He works the space between rehab and performance, taking someone who has been cleared but does not feel ready and getting them loading with confidence again. A competitive powerlifter himself, with a 665 lb deadlift at 198 lbs bodyweight.
