Range of Motion Exercises

 Pendulum Exercise

  • Band over at your best and allowed the affected arm to hang down at your side
  • Swing the affected a forward and backward by using the weight of them and gravity
  • Use this technique to move your arm both in-class clockwise and anticlockwise direction

Wand Exercises

These exercises are performed with the help of a stick

Flexion: 

Send in an upright position and hold a stick in your hand with your palms facing downward stretch your arms by lifting them over your head and keep your elbows straight during this process hold for five seconds and return to normal

Extension: 

Stand straight and hold the ick in both of your hands behind your back move your hands away from your back and hold them in this position for 5 seconds relax and return to your starting position

External Rotation: 

Lie down on your back and hold a stick with your palms facing upward. Your upper arm should be on the floor and your elbows bent at a 9090-degree angle. Using your healthy shoulder push your affected arm away from your body while keeping the elbow near to your body hold this stretch for 5 seconds

Internal Rotation: 

Stand straight and hold a stick in both of your hands behind your back. The stick must be kept perpendicular to the floor and in line with the body. Place your hand on the uninjured side behind your head while grasping the stick  and your injured side will be behind your back at your waist move this up and down your back by bending your elbows hold the bend position for 5 second

Shoulder Abduction and Adduction: 

Stand in an upright position and hold the stick with both of your hands and Palm downs keep your elbow straight and use your health I am to push your injured arm to the side and up as highest possible hold this for 5 second

Strengthening Exercises

When the range of motion is normalized strengthening exercises are also performed for strengthening the shoulder muscles so that you can return be normal life as soon as possible
